Phlebotomist (30 hours/week)
About The Position
Vancouver Clinic is seeking WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomists for a Part Time position. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Primary responsibilities include performing venipuncture collection, handling and processing specimens, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
- Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred
