Highland Springs is a behavioral health hospital located in Highland Hills, OH, part of the greater Cleveland area. We provide high-quality compassionate care for those facing mental health and addiction challenges. Programs include inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Requirements

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, or geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory.
• Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
