Laboratory - Phlebotomist
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of recent phlebotomy experience. Experience with Epic charting is required. This position requires the candidate to reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. The role involves providing phlebotomy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings and requires comfort working across various hospital departments, including the ED and ICU. Strong venipuncture, specimen collection, labeling, handling, and patient identification skills are essential. The position involves 8-hour afternoon/evening shifts, typically from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with availability to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Flexibility with low-census/on-call coverage and potential call-back requirements is also necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3 years of recent Phlebotomy experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
