Phlebotomist
About The Position
This opportunity is for a Phlebotomist with a passion for patient care, who is personable, professional, and skilled in venipuncture. The role is part of a team focused on advancing the health and wellbeing of communities through clinical laboratory solutions. The position is located in Lockesburg, AR and operates on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. This is a part-time role with partial benefits eligibility. The role involves routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI), requiring employees to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to privacy and security standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
- Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
- Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
- Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
