About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Spring Valley, AZ. This role involves performing blood collections, processing specimens, managing patient information, and providing excellent customer service. The Phlebotomist will be the face of the company and will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments when required
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
