About The Position

IVI RMA North America is looking for a Part-Time Phlebotomist to work in our new Paramus location opening in the fall. Training will start off in our Englewood location. This is a part-time role working Monday-Friday from 5:30am-11:30am with rotating holidays and weekends. This individual will draw blood from patients for laboratory procedures used in the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. The Phlebotomist maintains a cooperative relationship with clinical staff and helps to create a positive experience for our patients.

Requirements

Completion of a Phlebotomy Program – highly preferred (required in CA, WA, TX).
3+ years' recent work performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting - required
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, and Outlook - required
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience - required

Responsibilities

Properly identifies patients.
Performs and explains the process of the venipuncture and/or other specimen collection as required.
Conducts blood draws, labeling specimens, and centrifuging specimens.
Stores and transports specimen samples according to the different procedures to maintain integrity of the specimen.
Understands and complies with OSHA and DEP regulations.
Maintains clean and stocked phlebotomy Area.
Reassures patients and provide comfort to ease anxieties.
