About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking WA State credentialed MA-Phlebotomists at Ridgefield who are passionate about providing excellent customer service and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and will require floating to various locations. As a professional representative of the laboratory, the phlebotomist plays a key role in creating a positive patient experience. Primary responsibilities include performing venipuncture collection, handling and processing specimens, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes. A strong understanding of department procedures, as well as computerized EMR and Lab Information Systems, is essential. Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist credential required or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required
  • Ability to calm patients and work under stressful conditions
  • Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience using blood collection techniques in a clinical lab setting is preferred
