Requirements

  • Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • BLS or CPR Required. If not BLS Certified, then certification must be obtained within 30 days of Hire.

Nice To Haves

  • This is a Career Ladder Position. Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements. External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position.

Responsibilities

  • Draws and collects blood samples from patients
  • Verifies records
  • Prepares specimens for laboratory analysis
  • May prick finger to draw blood
  • May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank
