About The Position

Work Schedule: 60% FTE, day shift. 24 hours per week, 4-5 days per week, 4:30AM – 9:00AM. Every 3rd weekend 4:30AM – 11:00AM. Rotating holidays and on-call shifts required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: This position may be eligible for a $1,500.00 sign-on bonus. Additional components of compensation may include: Evening and night shift differential, Weekend differential, On-call pay. Play an important role in delivering information to a patient’s provider about their health so that they can diagnose and treat them properly. We are seeking a Phlebotomist to: Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages. Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. Complete specimen receiving and specimen processing. Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system.

Requirements

• No minimum education required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Completion of accredited Phlebotomy Training program and clinical rotation
• 1 year of experience in phlebotomy and/or healthcare
• Phlebotomist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
