About The Position
The Phlebotomist-VHCMG performs phlebotomy and general lab-related duties within the medical practice setting. The position also includes administrative and practice support tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with point-of-care (POC) testing, excellent communication skills. While staff is assigned a home site, they may be requested provide coverage at other office sites if needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of healthcare/ medical - phlebotomy experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with point-of-care (POC) testing.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program is preferred.
- One year of hospital experience is preferred.
- Computer experience is preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent) is preferred.
