Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives. Labcorp is seeking a Rover Phlebotomist (part-time) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves performing blood collections, specimen processing, data entry, customer service, and administrative duties. Phlebotomists work in Patient Service Centers or Client offices, serving as the face of the company and providing skilled specimen collections. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
• Be at least 21 years’ old

Nice To Haves

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites required
