The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, for diagnostic testing. The role also involves assisting with clerical functions, data entry, plating cultures, and collecting urine drug screens. Additionally, the Phlebotomist provides training and competency assessments for CMA students, LPNs, and RNs as needed. Primary working hours are 5am-1:30pm and 7am-3:30pm.
