About The Position

The Phlebotomist provides safe, accurate, and professional specimen collection services for patients of all ages, ranging from newborns to the elderly. This role is responsible for collecting, labeling, and transporting specimens while ensuring proper documentation, registration, and data entry for both inpatient and outpatient services. The Phlebotomist maintains cooperative interactions with patients, families, medical staff, and hospital departments while supporting efficient laboratory workflows and upholding the mission and values of the hospital. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Completion of Phlebotomy Training Program required

Nice To Haves

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year phlebotomy experience preferred
