About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team at Stockbridge OSC in Stockbridge, GA. This is a part-time role with a work schedule of Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, including a 1-hour lunch break. The Phlebotomist will work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office, providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections, and representing the company. Opportunities for continuous growth within the organization are available. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Reliable transportation
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

3 years or more of phlebotomy experience
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
Maintain patient and specimen information logs
Provide superior customer service to all patients
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Travel to additional sites when needed
