About The Position
Valley Medical Group is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their Laboratory team at the Greenfield Health Center. This is a part-time position in a dynamic environment, serving a diverse community. The role requires the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture, with a successful candidate possessing excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and proficiency in computers, data entry, and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- CPT preferred, but not required
- EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Collecting samples from patients of all ages
- Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
- Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
