About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Moorestown, NJ. This role involves performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting various specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. The Phlebotomist will also be responsible for accurate and timely data entry of patient information, processing billing, collecting payments, preparing specimens for testing and analysis, and maintaining patient and specimen information logs. Providing superior customer service to all patients is a key aspect of the role, along with performing administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites may be required. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 or months as a phlebotomist
  • In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

  • 1 month or more of phlebotomy experience

Responsibilities
