About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Phlebotomist to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. Responsibilities

Collecting venous and capillary whole blood specimens
Chain of Custody urine and venous blood specimens
Accessioning, labeling, procuring specimens for testing and transport
Registering patients and placing or deleting test orders in EMR/LIS, operation of LIS
Assisting technologists and Administrative Laboratory Director with laboratory operation as requested and where appropriate as checked competent
