About The Position
AHA's local Patient Service Center on the East side of Ormond Beach, FL has an exciting full-time opportunity for a reliable and dedicated Phlebotomist! This position offers a limited level of freedom and flexibility that is very different from a hospital or clinical environment.
Requirements
- Clear criminal history as required for positions with direct patient care
- An additional background check to include level-2 fingerprinting
- Minimally 2-years of phlebotomy work experience
- Minimally 1-year of outpatient center experience
- Must possess a passion towards SAFETY and CUSTOMER SERVICE!
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy work experience required.
- Clean criminal history, as required for positions with direct patient care; some states require additional background checks including fingerprinting https://info.flclearinghouse.com which require a Level 2 (fingerprints)
Responsibilities
- Drawing blood from patients following venipuncture protocols
- Completing pertinent paperwork
- Preparing tube labels correctly and legibly
- Providing exceptional customer service
