About The Position

Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non-technical, and clerical functions. This role is part of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network, a partnership focused on patient care, innovation, medical research, and education. The network includes eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center.

Requirements

• Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact
• Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation
• Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets
• Basic computer skills
• Basic problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures
• High School diploma or equivalent
• ASCP certification
