We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Phlebotomist to work onsite at 15 Corporate Park Drive in Pembroke, MA. Our Phlebotomists play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and are responsible for collecting and processing blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Nice To Haves

Completion of a phlebotomy course preferred

Responsibilities

Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
Communicates effectively with patients and patient care teams, explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Handles sharps and biohazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
Works fluently with computer programs and systems, and complies with HIPAA regulations.
Performs other test administration and specimen collection as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all policies and standards
