About The Position
We are seeking an experienced, reliable Phlebotomist to be available on an as-needed/occasional basis for blood draws in our medical office.
Requirements
- Phlebotomy certification
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist with difficult sticks
- Excellent technique - no miss
- Dependable/reliable
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
- Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
Responsibilities
- Perform routine venipuncture and blood collection per protocol
- Properly label and prepare specimens for laboratory pickup/processing
- Maintain a professional, comfortable experience for patients
- Follow standard safety and infection-control procedures
