About The Position

We are seeking a Phlebotomist for our Southern Territory of RI. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible role with a Monday-Friday schedule and weekend rotation. Hours range from an 8-hour shift between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with float roles requiring availability between 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM for coverage. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care, perform venipuncture on patients of all ages, collect/prepare non-blood specimens, ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering, and champion safety, compliance, and quality control. This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI), and employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
