About The Position
Under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor of Support Services, the Phlebotomist performs phlebotomy, specimen processing, and customer service duties. Individuals new to healthcare are encouraged to apply and may participate in the onsite Phlebotomy Training Program.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently.
- Functional knowledge of electronic information handling concepts.
- Attention to detail and thorough, concise, accurate documentation.
- Ability to function as a positive member of a team.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity, and discretion.
Nice To Haves
- Recent graduation from a phlebotomy program and/or certification as a Phlebotomist.
