About The Position
Mobile Wellness Solutions is looking for a Phlebotomist. The candidate/phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining vitals, drawing blood, urine, EKG, and medical history. This is a paid per appointment/event position, not an hourly or salary-paid position, with bi-weekly pay. Some travel expenses are covered depending on the location of the appointment.
Requirements
- Proven experienced phlebotomist.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service & communication skills.
- Knowledge regarding HIPAA/PHI law.
- Detail-oriented/sound organizational skills.
- Professional, responsible, and self-starter with excellent attention to detail and good penmanship.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
Responsibilities
- Traveling to specified locations to obtain samples as required.
- Disinfecting extraction sites using alcohol swabs.
- Gathering mandatory information from patients and verifying their identities.
- Obtaining vitals, blood, urine, EKGs, and medical history.
- Accurately labeling all samples.
- Maintaining accurate patient records, which include detailing any medical issues experienced by patients during venipuncture procedures that may affect the accuracy of test results.
