About The Position

Phlebotomist, Haywood Family Practice - Canton. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, with no holidays or weekends required. Haywood Regional Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. Join our team of healthcare professionals at HFPC in a two-provider office that provides comprehensive primary care services to patients ages 4+. These services include routine checkups, illness management, preventative care, and minor procedures. Requirements

• Current state Phlebotomy certificate.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Specimen labeling, ordering, accessioning, and processing.
• Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
• Specified waived testing if applicable.
