About The Position

Valley Medical Group is a provider-owned, multi-specialty group serving over 55,000 patients across four locations in the Pioneer Valley. They are seeking a Phlebotomist to join their Laboratory team at the Easthampton Health Center. This role offers a dynamic environment for individuals looking for a new opportunity. The Phlebotomist will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages using venipuncture. Key attributes for success include excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and proficiency in computer use, data entry, and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
• Previous customer service or medical office experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• CPT preferred, but not required
• EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Collecting samples from patients of all ages
• Processing and accessions of clinical specimens
• Checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, answering phones, greeting patients
