Job Summary Performs inpatient phlebotomy and laboratory functions accurately and efficiently for compliance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1 year phlebotomy experience
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
- Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube
Responsibilities
- Performs inpatient phlebotomy and laboratory functions accurately and efficiently for compliance with regulatory agencies.
