About The Position

Grifols is a global healthcare company that develops, produces, and markets plasma-derived medicines, transfusion medicine products, solutions, and services. The Phlebotomist works in a plasma center and helps determine donor suitability, maintain donor comfort and confidentiality, and support the safety of donors and the quality of plasma products. Grifols provides training for this role.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Superior customer service standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining the suitability of donors.
• Establish rapport with donors to support customer satisfaction while maintaining donor confidentiality.
• Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions.
• Monitor donors and equipment to help ensure donor health and product quality.
• Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines.
• Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment.
