This role is responsible for establishing rapport with donors, conducting routine venipuncture for plasmapheresis, and collecting donor samples. The Phlebotomist will respond to and assist with donor reactions, monitor collection equipment for donor health and safety, and operate plasmapheresis machines. This includes troubleshooting, documentation, and evaluation of machine displays. The position also involves disconnecting donors, disposing of contaminated equipment, and ensuring proper calibration and maintenance of plasmapheresis machines. Maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness, accurate documentation of collection records, and adhering to company policies and procedures are key responsibilities. The role requires maintaining open communication with management, a positive and professional demeanor, accepting performance feedback, and regular attendance.
