About The Position
Join TriHealth as a Phlebotomist in an Outpatient Position! Are you committed to delivering accurate and compassionate care? In this role, you’ll collect quality specimens from patients of all ages, support diagnostic testing, and serve as a vital liaison between the laboratory and our customers. You’ll also assist with order entry, compliance documentation, and ensure smooth specimen processing. If you have strong attention to detail and a passion for patient service, we’d love to have you on our team!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED or GED (Required)
Nice To Haves
- 1 - 2 years of experience in Phlebotomy (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy Trained Upon Hire (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Ensure specimen integrity by obtaining patient identification, accurate data, collection and specimen collection
- Documents all information as required in expected timeframes
- Understands the importance of accuracy in all steps of the collection process and completes all work accurately and timely.
- Takes on complex tasks when asked and takes initiative to take on tasks when need arises.
- Completes work following processes and protocols for safety, confidentiality, and sample integrity
