Requirements

BLS (AHA or client preferred)
High school diploma or GED certificate & completion of a NAACLS Accredited or two-part Phlebotomy Program

Responsibilities

Perform basic approved testing procedures, including routine screening tasks.
Prepare samples and materials for secure and accurate transport.
Conduct testing and analytical procedures in accordance with established organizational protocols.
Follow all safety and compliance guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of potentially hazardous materials, and adhere to standard precautions to reduce risk of exposure.
Provide required evaluations, documentation, and reporting in alignment with applicable program or organizational guidelines.
Complete all mandatory annual training, including (but not limited to) emergency preparedness, safety compliance, harassment prevention, infection control, and hazardous materials awareness.
Maintain clear, accurate, and concise documentation related to services provided.
Use and navigate automated systems and software platforms (such as electronic information or case management systems) to support daily operations.
