About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Rover Casual Overnight to join our team at medical clinics in Overland Park, KS Work Schedule: This is a casual/PRN position; hours will be "as needed" but the start and end times will vary from 12am-8am. We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist Rover Casual Overnight to work in Client offices. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. Phlebotomist’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years’ old
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
