Phlebotomist Representative II - Hospital
About The Position
Represents the face of our company to patients within the hospital systems at Quest Diagnostics, both as part of their routine health management or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The Phlebotomist II draws quality blood samples from patients while following established practices and procedures. The Phlebotomist II has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. The Phlebotomist II will demonstrate Quest Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants will be assigned to work in a fast-paced hospital environment. Performing phlebotomy tasks in extreme patient and environmental conditions.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule including Monday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Must be able to perform phlebotomy tasks in extreme patient and environmental conditions.
Responsibilities
- Draws quality blood samples from patients while following established practices and procedures.
