Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year of on-the-job phlebotomy experience.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and monitor instrumentation alarms.
Perform venipuncture for blood collection and obtain additional specimen types as required.
Prepare all samples for lab testing and screening to maintain specimen integrity.
Verify specimen information, perform data entry, and properly identify patient information.
Receive, process, and package samples for referral labs while ensuring compliance with safety protocols, HIPAA policies, and Medicare rules.
Cover work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance.
