Under general supervision, performs advanced and complex phlebotomy procedures. PRN positions require a minimum of 2 shifts a month. This role involves drawing blood samples and handling other samples for laboratory analysis, registering patients, ordering tests, verifying order completeness and billing information, and entering patient data into the laboratory computer database. The position also includes preparing specimens for transport, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
