Perform a wide variety of patient reception, clerical and computer services and specimen collection procedures including venipuncture on infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. Perform a variety of other preparatory functions to assist the professional laboratory staff. As an employee without clinical privileges the scope of practice may involve the oral administration of various reagents as part of the process in disease diagnosis.
