About The Position

This is a Float position, and the phlebotomist will work in Casper Fixed Site and Wyoming mobiles. Must be willing to travel between Casper, Rock Springs, and Cheyenne. Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research. Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. and hosts approximately 60,000 blood drives annually.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED - Required
Active driver's license with a clean driving record - Required
Ability to travel as required
Able to lift 40 pounds - Required

Responsibilities

Assist Vitalant's donor care team in setting up blood drives at locations within a 200-mile range.
Create comfortable, convenient, and consistent blood donation experiences for donors.
Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed.
Perform blood draws (paid training provided).
Manage accurate and organized donor information.
Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested in your career and success.
