About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting laboratory functions at Beartooth Billings Clinic including phlebotomy and assisting Medical Technologists and Medical Laboratory Technicians.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certified or be able to obtain certification within 90 days
• Certify to perform UDS (DOT and non-DOT) and BAT within one year
• Equivalent combination of education and experience relating to the above, tasks, knowledge, skills, or abilities will be considered
• Must be able to reason independently and work with minimal guidance
• Must be able to interpret data and make sound judgments based on those interpretations
• Must deal effectively with a wide variety of personalities and situations requiring tact, judgment, and poise
• Must be able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and schedules
• Must be able to maintain good working relationships with all co-workers and the general public and use good judgment in recognizing scope and authority

Nice To Haves

• Advanced education in areas of science, chemistry and mathematics normally acquired through college level courses
• Prior laboratory or health care experience
