About The Position

Available Inpatient Phlebotomy Positions:
Full-Time (80 Hrs Per Pay): M-F 1:15PM-9:45PM; Every Other Weekend & 3 Holidays Per Yr
Part-Time (32 Hrs Per Pay): Varied Weekdays 2AM-6AM; Every Other Weekend 2AM-6AM; 3 Holidays Per Yr (2AM-8AM)
Part-Time (16 Hrs Per Pay): Varied Days 1:15PM-9:45PM; Every Other Weekend & 3 Holidays Per Yr
The Phlebotomist:
Performs phlebotomy, point of care testing on multiple platforms and EKG tracings.
Correctly identifies patients and handles patient registration.
Mains a working knowledge of both the laboratory and hospital information systems and tools.
Provides dispatching or coordinating of collections and performs procedures in a standardized, accurate manner with knowledge of the parameters of acceptability and critical limits.
Expected to perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Phlebotomy training and/or experience required
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
• FIT Testing must be obtained within 60 days of hire date
• PA Drivers License (May vary based on department needs)
