About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Hamtramck, MI. This position is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory procedures and related tasks, including collecting specimens from patients. The role requires adherence to established protocols and safety standards to ensure accurate and reliable test results. The Phlebotomist II will interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, providing excellent customer service and maintaining patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a phlebotomy training program.
- Certification as a phlebotomist (e.g., ASCP, AMT).
- Experience in phlebotomy, including venipuncture and capillary collection.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.

- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Additional certifications or training in related fields.
