About The Position

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Princeton, NJ. This role involves collecting specimens from patients and preparing them for laboratory testing. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and excellent customer service skills. The Phlebotomist II will work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the overall efficiency of the laboratory services.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program.
Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a phlebotomist.
Proficiency in venipuncture and capillary collection techniques.
Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Experience in a high-volume laboratory setting.
Additional certifications in phlebotomy or related fields.
