This role requires the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal on-site supervision. The position demands excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and flexibility to meet staffing needs, which may include weekends, holidays, on-call duties, and overtime. A commitment to all company Policies & Procedures, including dress code, Employee Health & Safety, and Guiding Principles, is essential. The successful candidate must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record are necessary if applicable. Travel and flexible hours are required to work multiple locations and cover Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice. The ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting, demonstrate superior customer focus, communicate openly and transparently, embrace change, and understand the business are key attributes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred but required in California, Nevada, and Washington. 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, is required. Experience in a Patient Service Center environment is preferred, as is customer service experience in a retail or service setting. Keyboard/data entry experience is also necessary.
