About The Position

Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist II at Rockville, MD! This is a 13 weeks contract role with a high possibility of extension or conversion, offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. The role involves travel between Rockville and Gaithersburg locations and managing a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining accuracy and quality. The position requires completing required training and following site-specific procedures.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
Experience with Pediatric collections
Experience with Geriatric collections
Experience with Capillary collections

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and safely.
Collect, label, and handle patient specimens according to established procedures.
Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients.
Verify patient information and ensure specimens are properly identified.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all laboratory, safety, and compliance procedures.
Assist with day-to-day operations at Patient Service Centers and client office locations.
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Travel between Rockville and Gaithersburg locations as needed.
Manage a high volume of patient interactions while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Complete required training and follow site-specific procedures.
