About The Position

This position requires you to have a state phlebotomy license. Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV. This is a Phlebotomist II position located in Mountain View, CA. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (closing shift), with rotational every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Requirements

State phlebotomy license (Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in phlebotomy.
Basic computer proficiency.

Nice To Haves

Experience with automated instrumentation.
Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collection (venipuncture, butterfly, and capillary collections) and urine drug screens.
Process specimens for transport to the laboratory.
Perform specimen processing, testing and plating.
Operate automated instrumentation.
Perform quality control and calibration procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Adhere to all safety, HIPAA, and company policies and procedures.
