About The Position

This is a 5-month contract position for a Phlebotomist II. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, based on staffing needs. The position involves working at multiple locations and requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will demonstrate superior customer focus, communicate effectively, embrace change, and possess knowledge of the business. The role is fast-paced and requires the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with minimal on-site supervision. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. The rate is based on direct phlebotomy experience.

Requirements

Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus; ability to communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors and patients; ability to accelerate and embrace change; and knowledge of our business.
High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Keyboard/data entry experience.
Should be within 20-25 MINUTES TO SITE.
Candidate must have their own reliable transportation to get to/from worksite without issue (Being dropped off by bus, Uber, rideshare is not reliable transportation).
Must be available to work whenever scheduled, BE ON TIME, and stay for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities
