About The Position

This is a Phlebotomist II position with a duration of 4-5 months. The shift is Wednesday to Friday from 6 am to 3 pm, and Saturday from 6 am to 12 pm. The location is New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability. The rate is based on years of direct phlebotomy experience as listed in the resume. Overlapping roles do not count twice. Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to get to/from the worksite without issue. Being dropped off by bus, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable transportation. Candidates must be available to work whenever scheduled, be on time, and stay for the entire shift. Excessive absenteeism/tardiness is not tolerated and will be cause for termination.

Requirements

  • Phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and cover Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Perform pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy.
  • Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
