About The Position

This is a Phlebotomist II position with a duration of 3-4 months, requiring flexibility in shifts and locations. The role involves providing quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal on-site supervision. The ideal candidate will possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections, and be adaptable to staffing needs which may include weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. A commitment to company policies, procedures, and guiding principles is essential. The position requires good judgment, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to multiple locations with minimal notice. The role also demands the capability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting and demonstrate superior customer focus, open communication, and adaptability to change.

Requirements

  • Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Centre environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
