This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and professional environment, performing both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Key duties include verifying patient demographic information, maintaining records, drawing quality blood samples, and preparing specimens for lab testing. The Phlebotomist II creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens skillfully, safely, and accurately.
