Phlebotomist II- On Call
About The Position
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II to work on-call in Columbia, MD. This role is responsible for performing blood collections by venipuncture, including butterfly, straight draws, and finger sticks, on patients of all ages. The Phlebotomist II will also be responsible for processing specimens, performing specimen collections on patients, and ensuring accurate labeling of all specimens. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently. The pay range for this position is $18.39 - $27.58 per hour, with offers based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market/organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus compensation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal phlebotomy training program.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
