About The Position

This is a 6-month contract position for a Phlebotomist II. The role requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, as well as the ability to travel and work at multiple locations with minimal notice. The position demands the ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with minimal on-site supervision. A strong focus on customer service and adherence to company policies and procedures is essential.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required.
  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.

  • Must be able to make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and required to cover at Patient Service Center/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
  • Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

  • High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
  • 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
  • High volume experience required.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
